Factory

Tradition and terroir

Pipes that have a soul. Factory pipes, I make them from sketched heads, turned on machines and which for the most part come from Sanclaudian factories. The briar is perfectly dry because these pipe heads have rested for several decades in ventilated attics. They are systematically re-drilled to 4 mm. The stems are either made entirely by hand in bars of ebonite, Cumberland (Germany or Japan) or acrylic, or made from blanked stems which are finished by hand. In all cases, particular attention is paid to the comfort of the beak, the shape of the lens and all are open in a deep V. Always with a view to providing comfort and optimum  tirage.
