The leather is nicely patinated, the zippers also. It smells of leather and tobacco and proudly displays its years. 
Everything is perfectly functional and there are no tears or holes. The period materials, of which I cannot give the year, are of very good quality. It will serve for many more years!
No renovation or deep cleaning that could deprive it of all its charms has been done!
